Jhika is a unique kind of cymbal musical instrument from India. It is generally used as an accompaniment to Punjabi folk music in north India. Sometimes Bhangra dancers also use it while singing and dancing. 16 inches length and solid thick plastic make it ergonomically perfect instrument. Earlier Jhika used to have wood frames. Folk artists, however, prefer solid plastic frames because of higher quality sound.
